Elizabeth Wainwright Alkhas, MS is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) with biochemistry-based training in clinical nutrition, and is an expert in gluten-free nutrition and optimal digestive health. She is an outspoken advocate for identifying gluten sensitivity and how this condition can adversely affect multiple body systems and contribute to a number of chronic conditions. Her passion stems from her own personal gluten and dairy intolerance, and from helping clients with these same conditions.
Elizabeth’s mission is to educate the public on how a "healthy gluten-free" lifestyle can transform lives. This includes not only removing gluten-based foods, but also adding organic and sustainable produce, non-Genetically Modified (GMO) and humanely raised animal food sources. She combines personal experience and scientific training when evaluating healing therapies, nutritional supplementation and providing dietary suggestions. In addition, Elizabeth analyzes and reports on functional blood chemistry findings, and employs salivary, stool and urine sampling to identify gluten sensitivity as well as commonly associated biochemical disturbances.
In addition to her credentials as a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Elizabeth has more than 15 years of marketing experience when providing consulting services for diagnostic laboratories, food and product manufacturers, nutritional supplement companies, restaurants, and resorts.
